Welcome to Te Ara Tautoko. We are committed to providing helpful resources, support, and services to individuals and whānau navigating the remand and prison system. This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be available for purchases made through our website.
Due to the nature of digital products such as eBooks, downloadable resources, guides, templates, and online materials, all digital product sales are generally final and non-refundable once the product has been downloaded or accessed.
However, refunds may be considered if:
You were charged incorrectly
You accidentally purchased the same product more than once
You experienced technical issues preventing access to the product
The product was not delivered successfully
If you believe you qualify for a refund, please contact us within 7 days of purchase.
If you purchase a consultation, support session, or service through Te Ara Tautoko:
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may be eligible for a full refund or reschedule.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment may not be eligible for a refund.
If Te Ara Tautoko needs to cancel or reschedule a service, you will be offered either a full refund or a new appointment time.
For workshops, courses, or events:
Refunds may be available up to 7 days before the event date.
No refunds will usually be provided for non-attendance.
Tickets may be transferable where appropriate.

Please allow up to 5 business days for refund requests to be reviewed.
Approved refunds will be returned using the original payment method where possible. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
